State Your Objectives in Taking This Course
I take this course because I want to improve my English. So far, I am still afraid of English even though I have learned it since primary school. I am not sure why I behave like this. But every time when I meet some foreigners, I am stuck and never attempt to communicate with them in English. English is difficult for me, especially when I try to write letters, reports and others in English. The result is that I always look down upon myself and totally lose my confidence, not only in English itself but also in my own capability.
So, through this course, I hope I can improve my English grammar so that I can write, read, and speak the language without any difficulties. I am not expecting that I will make no mistakes. But I am expecting that I can use English properly and clearly.
My speaking is also weak. So, in this course, I will take make use of every chance to speak more. Through pronunciation practices and real-life speaking drills, I think I can speak more confidently. Well, there is no smooth road to success. So I will try my best.
Finally, I hope my teacher can give me more guidelines and advice so that I can study the course on my own. I want a good teacher. I also want a good friend who can give me honest, sincere, and true guidance.
These are my objectives in taking this course.
